As we continue our series on the services that we offer let’s focus on something which is a little misunderstood yet very powerful. We use something called “Message Marketing” to enhance your customers’ experiences and/or to bring customers back around for your company. Message Marketing involves using targeted and timed “messages” to communicate with your customers and prospects. This takes a couple of forms in particular for us.

First, we use messaging to communicate the process to prospects or customers depending on what you sign up for. E-mails and text messages guide you through the steps we need you to take and keep you informed all along the way. Though no one likes getting too many messages, when you are in the process of buying or using a service it’s better to have too many than too few. People who are working with your business typically don’t mind if that’s the case because it keeps them informed about upcoming appointments, statuses, or follow-ups. This messaging is also a key part of the review and referral process we talked about last time.

The second, and the perhaps more powerful, tool is known as “database reactivation”. Essentially, it’s using your existing clients to bring new business by sending a message with an offer to try again or refer a friend. In that respect it ties in with the referrals from last week and has a very high rate of success.

Messaging can also apply to Lead Generation and Social media Marketing but those are discussions for later on.
